This is to encourage the pastors, leaders and congregations in four family of churches to attend this year’s Metrolina Baptist Association Annual Meeting, to be held on Thursday, October 24 at Independence Hill Baptist Church, at 10220 Independence Hill Road, Huntersville. Our theme this year is “A Call to Obedience.”
This year’s meeting gives us a time to celebrate what God has done among us, and a time to seriously consider where we are as churches and as an association with a view to the future. This year’s meeting will include:
Annual Meeting: 7:00-8:30 pm
• Worship & Prayer
• Preparing for a new year of missions & ministry
• Celebrating missions efforts, church revitalization, church plants & more
• Video update on our People Group Project
• Director’s Message: After 7 years, looking ahead 7 years to 2020
Fellowship and Networking: 8:30-9:15 pm
• Getting to know others in our family of churches
• Meeting church planters in MBA, finding ways to partner together
• Refreshments provided
Please plan for your church to be represented at the annual session. You and your entire church family are invited to attend on October 24. This will be a great opportunity to see how God is at work in our family of churches, to meet other leaders, church planters, and more.
