Since the move to our new location here at The Great Commission Center, God has blessed the ministry of Metrolina Baptist Association immensely. The buildings are still being updated and we are working toward completion of our construction (hopefully) soon.
In the meantime, the GCC has become home to multiple church plants that would otherwise struggle to find a meeting location. Currently, these churches are meeting throughout the day on Sunday. One church plant began a Saturday night service in 2017, and the response was–in every sense of the word–awesome! In fact, in January 2018, this Spanish-speaking church moved service from Saturday night in our Gym to Sunday morning in the Green Memorial Chapel.
Additionally, The Great Commission Center offers our associated churches and partners the opportunity to use our facility. We offer multiple seminar and meeting rooms, an outdoor picnic area, as well as the Gym and Kitchen to host a large or small event for your associated church or partner organization. Metrolina Baptist Association has purchased 2 bounce houses to be used as ministry tools by our churches and partners. One is a standard bounce house (13 x 13), and the other is a bounce house with a slide. Our active associated churches or church plants are welcome to reserve one or both bounce houses for a suggested donation.
