Men are a vitally important part of who we are and what we do as an association of churches. One study has shown that if children in a family attend church, the rest of the family is 3.5% likely to attend church also. If the mother in a family attends church, the rest of the family is 17% likely to attend church with her. But if the father attends church, the rest of the family is 93% likely to go with him to worship.
It’s time to step up to the plate, men, and be the servant leaders God has called us to be – at home, at work, at church, and in our communities – in Jesus’ name.
Baptist Men Leadership Training Event
Saturday, September 9, 2017
This one-day leadership training event is designed for Baptist Men’s Directors, Men’s Ministry Leaders, pastors, or anyone who has a heart for discipling men. The program will include an overview, followed by sessions on specific men’s ministry areas, and time for questions/wrap-up. Content will deal with how to have a vibrant, well-rounded Men’s Ministry – one that leads men to grow in their walk with Christ while involving them in discipleship, missions, and ministry. Come enjoy the fellowship and network with local church men’s leaders from across the state while you sharpen your leadership skills! There will also be separate training tracks for those who work with Royal Ambassadors and Challengers. These leaders will receive updates on curriculum as well as tips on beginning or enhancing the program for the boys and young men in your church.
The cost is $10 per person and will include lunch. Registration is required. For more information or to register visit our website at: www.baptistsonmission.org/menstraining, or contact Kailyn Eskridge, NC Baptist Men at 919-459-5596 or email@example.com.
