Neighborhood Missions

In Matthew 9:35-38, we can see the great need for outreach and evangelism through the example of Jesus. He did not stay within the four walls of the “Synagogue”. Jesus went everywhere. He went to the towns and villages, mountainside, countryside, next to a graveyard , on the seashore, in the homes of sinners and saints. He taught and preached the good news of the kingdom along with healing every disease and sickness. Jesus rooted and grounded all that would receive the message. In the same way we need to go out and teach and preach to a lost world.

Acts 1:8 – “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
In today’s terms, Jerusalem is our Charlotte, Judea is the United States, and to the ends of the earth.
